Leibster Award

"You've been Liebstered", the comment read. Though it took me a few seconds to register, knowing a little bit of German, I realized that this was a good thing. Not to mention that she who nominated me for this very pink honor, was none other than Tome of the Ancient, one of my favoritest of favorite reads. Thank you so, so much Tome! :D

On the down side, having been mostly away from WoW for several weeks now (I am suffering angst due to a very anticlimactic 67 wipes on Garrosh Hellscream without a kill, followed by personal drama in several guildies' real lives, leading to the crumbling of our raid schedule on the final boss in end content), I had not updated my blog, so I missed the nomination! :(

Luckily, the internet is very forgiving, and now that I've seen said nomination, I will respond with all the grandeur and pomp one can muster for such a wonderful accreditation!

There. Now then, isn't that LOVELY?! It will also hold a place of distinction from here on, at right, in my sidebar. Thank you Tome, thank you ladies and gentlemen, thank you. No autographs please. (I've always wanted to say that!)

Ok, so, what does all this mean, anyway? Well, "[..] if you have been nominated for The Liebster Award AND YOU CHOOSE TO ACCEPT IT, write a blog post about the Liebster award in which you:
  1. Thank the person who nominated you, and post a link to their blog on your blog.
  2. Display the award on your blog — by including it in your post and/or displaying it using a “widget” or a “gadget”. (Note that the best way to do this is to save the image to your own computer and then upload it to your blog post.)
  3. Answer 11 questions about yourself, which will be provided to you by the person who nominated you.
  4. Provide 11 random facts about yourself.
  5. Nominate 5 – 11 blogs that you feel deserve the award, who have less than 1000 followers. (Note that you can always ask the blog owner this since not all blogs display a widget that lets the readers know this information!)
  6. Create a new list of questions for the blogger to answer.
  7. List these rules in your post (You can copy and paste from here.)
  8. Once you have written and published it, you then have to: Inform the people/blogs that you nominated that they have been nominated for the Liebster award and provide a link for them to your post so that they can learn about it (they might not have ever heard of it!)

[Edit: I keep scrolling down my page and find this entry to be much too long with nothing graphic to break it up. I am therefore splitting this entry into various segments, and spacing their publishing out by exactly 1 minute. Thank you all for your understanding.]

Thank you very much for the nomination! I'll do my best living up to it, once I've thought things through (and ound a couple of blogs to nominate further) :)

I'm really glad to have stumbled on your blog! Who knows! Maybe through the difficult process of finding blogs to nominate, you might find a rare jewel like I did! Good luck!!

Yay! I was afraid you weren't still out there! I had thought I was the only person out there who didn't have a cell phone. Say hi to Oliver for me and it was so good to read you again!

No, no, I am still here!! :D The day I go, there will be a notice. Unless I'm... you know... deceased. In which case I won't have been able to advise, but hopefully that can be forgiven. ;)

Again, thanks so much for nominating me, Tome! :D

Thank you so much for the nomination! I've been feeling under the weather lately, and this really made my day :)
I'll follow up shortly with a post dedicated to this, once I've put some insight into the answers.
Thanks, again & take care!

You're welcome! Glad it made your day! I really do like what you do though. So simple, yet witty, and different than what all else we see out there... Hope you grow more of a following from it too!

Nice to see you are blogging again!

I'm the same way about my num lock key. And caps lock! If I accidentally hit it while in combat I *must* remedy that situation instead of, you know, dpsing.

LMAO! I can just picture it, in the heat of battle, a mournful cry in vent: "ONE SECOND MY CAPS ARE ON!!" Hahahaha! Love it!

OMG Crap! I was trying to delete MY comment because of a typo and there's not "Edit" feature that I could find, and the page reloaded but my comment was still there so, I hit "delete forever". GASP! And I must have deleted your comment too!! :( I'm so sorry Navi! Lemme see if I can fix it!

Can't fix it. :( I'm so sorry Navi! It was really an accident.
